Heat Station – 26 is one of the largest in Moscow, it’s located in the south administrative district.
The station was put into service on 30th of May, 1979 to provide power and heat supply of industrial enterprises, public and residential houses of southern Moscow and the Moscow Region with population about 1,5 million people.
The pipe is 152 m high

They have finished construction of the 8th power unit based on the modern gas-vapor technology: electric power of the multishaft unit – 420 MW, heat power – 265 Gcal/h, it will help to make the station much more powerful.

From here only one (!) person controls the heat station. Everything is automated and computerized.
This power unit contributes 22% more to the power of the heat station.
